Congrats! You Discovered York

Sergeant Alvin C. York is one of the most decorated World War I soldiers. He rose to fame with his brave actions in Argonne Forest of France on October 8th, 1918 when York and 16 of his fellow soldiers were ambushed behind German lines. Using his “Tennessee sharp-shooting” skills, he led the remaining members of his patrol to capture German forces that include four officers and 128 soldiers. His brave actions awarded him over 40 medals, including the Congressional Medal of Honor and the French Croix de Guerre.
