Congrats! You Discovered Benton McMillin
Benton McMillin, a native of Kentucky, moved to Celina, Tennessee at an early age and later to Carthage. He was elected as a State Legislature in 1874 and then to the U.S. Congress in 1879, where he there for 20 years. After, he served as Governor from 1899 to 1903, where he was an advocate for public schools.
